Objectives:  To complete the sixth set of weed surveys in the prairie provinces since the series of provincial surveys began in the mid-1970s. The survey provides information on the abundance and distribution of weed species in major annual crops including spring wheat, durum, barley, oats, corn, canola, soybean, flax, mustard, peas and lentils.

Benefits to MB Producers:  Provides information to producers on weed management recommendations that are essential components of sustainable farming systems. The floristic composition of weed communities will be related to management practices, weather and other environmental variables.
